Top 10 questions asked during MBA interviews

Below are the most frequently asked questions during MBA admission interviews. Most MBA interviews will be situational meaning that the panel will ask spontaneous questions. In most cases in all Tier-1 Business Schools the panel will comprise of 4 to 5 people who come from diversified backgrounds. The flow of questions will be logical and very much relevant to that particular day & time. Below are some of the general questions asked by the panellists to ensure the interviewee is not tensed.
  1. Why do you want to do MBA or Management course?
  2. Why did you choose B.Com / B.Tech / anything* as your graduation course?
  3. What did you learn in your Graduation?
  4. What are your career goals?
  5. Do you read books? What kind of books do you read?
  6. Tell me the summary of the Book?
  7. What is today's Sensex?
  8. Based on your City? They may ask something important in the City, may be about culture, festival, temperature, population, area etc?
  9. Based on the graduation you pursue the interviewer will ask questions on your core subjects
  10. Why should we select you?
