How do I start preparation for SSC CGL ?

SSC CGL is a competitive exam based on the notion of testing candidate’s sharpness and accuracy. If your basics of the subjects of the syllabus of SSC-CGL are good, you can crack this exam by doing lots of practice. 
Time Management is the Key-In SSC CGL Exam, you get just 120 minutes for solving 200 questions. It means you don’t even get 1 minutes for solving the single question. So what you need to do is to attempt only those question in which you are confident enough. First of all, read the question at least once. If your preparation is good, you can easily decide whether you would be able to solve a particular question or not. 

Revise & Practice-If you want to crack the written exam of SSC CGL exam, you need to have a strict look at your watch because you can’t let even a second go waste. In the tier-1 exam, there are 200 questions that need to get solved in 120 minutes which is not an easy task. You would get less than a minute to solve a single question. 

Smart work is the key to success for this exam.   • Here are some tips and strategy for cracking SSC CGL:

    • First complete the syllabus of SSC CGL and while doing it marks the question which seems difficult to you or you can write it in a notebook.
    • Follow only one book for each subject and never get confused about book because every book has the same thing and same concept.
    • For quant section complete the whole maths from Kiran chapter wise book.
    • For English section read the S.P Bakshi book and Word Power made easy for vocabulary section.
    • For Gs section read the lucent or Manohar Pandey of Arihant Publication.
    • No need to read any book for reasoning section of SSC CGL.
    • Once you cover all the topics of your syllabus then practise more and more.
    • Never lose hope and don’t feel dejected.
    • Keep yourself motivated and never feel that you can’t clear the exam
    • Maintain the consistency in studying.
    • Focus on your aim and try to achieve it.

    Let me ask a question whether toppers are extra talented or they read different books? Your answer surely will be no, if your answer is Yes then change it and fill your mind with a thought that you are the topper and you are extra talented and no one is superior to you in anything.
